The Spacetime Myth: Failure of the Lorentz Transformation

The belief in the spacetime concept of theoretical physics is traced back to the Lorentz transformation (LT) of Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity (STR). It is shown that its predictions of both time dilation and remote non-simultaneity are incompatible with each other, thereby proving that the LT cannot be a component of a valid physical theory. To believe otherwise requires that one ignore the axiom of algebra which states that multiplication of any finite number with zero leads to a unique value of zero itself.
